Contributing to this website
A number of enthusiastic owners have offered assistance in building up this website to make it better and/or a more useful resource to the intended audience. This page therefore, describes the sort of things that you can expect to see in the coming months, and also areas where individuals can contribute. These are, in no particular order:
- The Residents' Association Newsletter (past and present). This depends on the RA providing the necessary permission.
- Transport - how to get to and from FTW - times and costs
- Location of local services - shops and Post Boxes
- General information about Free Trade Wharf which can be referred to by owners advertising their flats for sale or letting.
- Notifying things at FTW that need attention or repair
- Flats for sale and to let
- Register of suppliers to owners at FTW
The first four are one-off activities with the possibility of some intermittent maintenance thereafter. The later items will require some thought into how the processes are going to work: there's not really much point in putting together a page for notifying suggested repairs if there's no mechanism to get that information to the people who are going to implement the repairs.
In addition to the above items, any material which is of relevance to owners or residents at Free Trade Wharf is valid. Local events are often missed because they're published in the local press at the last minute. If you hear of any event in the area, please use the form below to make the webmaster aware of it.
A word of warning though. The webmaster does not wish to be on the receiving end of a copyright infringement suit. Therefore any submissions which have been ripped off another site or a CD-ROM are not welcome. Contributors may be asked to certify that the submission is their own work, or that they have rights over the work, or that the work is out of copyright. Links to other sites are however acceptable but it must be understood that these often change, which can result in "broken links" or some other odd effects.
Use this form either to make contributions directly (cut and paste text from any word processing tool) or provide a pointer to where text and graphics may be obtained. If this is not sufficient, provide an e-mail address and the webmaster will return a temporary e-mail address to which you can send your submission.
All contributions will normally be attributed, so your name and/or flat number should be included if relevant. Alternatively, you may wish to remain anonymous, in which case just say so.
